Monday Night Games Meeting Minutes (Sep 19, 2011)

This week it was TF2 because it’s free and easy, like your ….um, taxes? Actually we played because it was someone’s B-Day and he really likes TF2 but being free makes it easy to convince others to play. Actually the turn out was not great as Mr. Regular couldn’t make it as well as some other guys but we did bring a newbie into the fold. Actually this is the third sentence in a row that starts with Actually, is that allowed?
Back to TF2. I haven’t played TF2 is long time but it’s still the same great game. I was worried that some of the new weapons and items would unbalance the game but they didn’t. Also each class still acted the same. Valve didn’t create some goofy weapon or ability that fundamentally changed how a class works. This makes it easy to pick up and play the game years after it has been released. Playing TF2 is like riding a bike, you never forget how.
